Located in Sukau, Borneo Nature Lodge strives to be an eco-friendly lodge without having to compromise the environment or your comfort. Nestled along the riverbanks of the Kinabatangan River, spend your days cruising along in search of wildlife. Bird enthusiasts can post up at the lodge’s three-story viewing tower, which doubles as a solar tower. While on ground level, there are mechanical bicycle pedals mounted to the ground that visitors can cycle to charge up the lodge’s battery banks, as the lodge runs on stored solar power at night.
* You can add-on visits to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehab Center and Gomantong Cave if you wish – watch our famous primates feed during meal time and explore the inner chambers of a limestone cave that is home to swiftlets and bats. The visits to these attractions will be self-guided and at your own expense. Our driver will be on standby until you are ready to resume your journey.

Met by our driver at your Sepilok or Sandakan hotel at 11:00 am for the 2 hour journey to Sukau village. Upon arrival, take a short boat transfer to the lodge. Check-in, settle in and enjoy lunch. Then, spend some time relaxing before embarking on a river cruise in search of wildlife. Return to lodge before sunset, and enjoy dinner shortly after. After dinner, relax or go on an optional night walk or cruise (add-on activities at your own expense).

Wake up to the calls of birds, insects and animals. At 6:00 AM go on a morning cruise up to The Kinabatangan River and onto Kelenanap Ox-Bow Lake. Take a short jungle walk before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Spend some time exploring the lodge, surrounding areas or the nearby village. The afternoon is followed by another cruise. After dinner, relax or on an optional night walk or cruise (add-on activities at your own expense).
