Location

Bigfin Divers is located in Kota Belud, roughly two hours from Kota Kinabalu. The dive centre is located at Mengkabar Bay and is only accessible by boat, boat transfers are provided from Dragon Pearl Beach Resort.

Day 1

Day 1 Pick up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu by your driver at 6:00AM for the journey to Kota Belud. Upon arrival, check-in, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea before meeting your dive or snorkel guide. Gear up on the way out to the dive sites or free at your own leisure for non-divers. Before 8:30AM, go on your first dive followed by a surface interval on the boat. Upon completion of surface interval, go on your second dive before returning to the beach by 1:00PM for lunch. At 3:00PM those booked on a package will depart for the their final boat dive or snorkel, returning back to the beach on sunset. Early evening free at your own leisure until dinner from 7:00PM.

Day 2

Check-out, and enjoy breakfast from 7:00AM before meeting your guide. All divers will go on 2 boat dives before returning to enjoy lunch by 1:00PM, and spending the rest of the day relaxing before transferring back to the city by mid-afternoon, at around 3:30PM.

* Snorkel trips will be on a different boat + location (Pulau Pandan/ local area) to the divers except for Mantanani Island trips

NOTE: Flying after diving – It is recommended that divers are to wait a minimum of 18-24 hours before flying.

Included

Return transfers from Kota Kinabalu hotel, boat transfers, 5 boat dives, meals stated in program, full dive gear, dive guide.

Excluded

Additional activities not mentioned in program, dive computer, soda and alcoholic beverages, tipping and gratuities.
