What is more relaxing than a morning out on the water in a sea kayak? This program will take you out to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park off the coast of Kota Kinabalu for a fun day out in the sun. Kayaking aside, you also have the opportunity for a short snorkel session at one of the island stops.

Day 1

Picked up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu at 8:30AM and transfer to Jesselton Point Jetty for a boat ride to Manukan Island. Upon arrival, gear up and equipment check before a safety briefing is conducted by your kayak guide. Start paddling at about 10:00AM towards Sulug Island (approximately 40 minutes). Here, gear up for a guided snorkel session. Before noon, continue paddling to Mamutik Island (approximately 30 minutes) for a BBQ lunch followed by some relaxation time on the beach. At about 2:00PM, paddle back to Manukan Island with an estimated arrival time at 3:00PM. Transfer back to mainland and onwards to hotel.

What to Bring?

Sunscreen, sandals or slippers, hat, drybag, swimwear and change of clothes.


Daily based on a minimum booking of 2pax per departure. Single supplement applies for solo travellers.


You will be kayaking at sea for 1.5 – 2 hours at any given time during the duration of this trip.
