A sister lodge to the original Hibiscus Villa, the Treetops Hibiscus Beach Retreat is a self-contained one-bedroom chalet nestled amongst the shady forest, perfect for couples and small families looking for privacy at an absolutely stunning and exclusive location.
The chalet is hidden amongst a forest setting tucked away from the beach with private access providing a lush sanctuary to enjoy during your stay. Simply relax by the chalet enjoying the sounds of the forest or enjoy the nearby beach for a swim, snorkel, or stroll, or doze in a hammock with a warm ocean breeze.
There are plenty of activities to arrange during your stay, including a mangrove river cruise, scuba diving, fishing or boat trips, jungle trekking with a survival course, and visiting the Rungus Cultural Museum. Try a day out in a local farm – rice planting, rubber tapping, foreshore seafood foraging, rice de-husking, collecting coconuts, and fishing with hand-nets. However, bear in mind that these activities are seasonal and dependent on the availability of the locals. If all of that sounds too stressful for you, massage and spa treatments are also available upon request.
Hidden in the tropical Borneo jungle and perched high amongst the trees with great views of the South China Sea, Hibiscus Beach Retreat’s ‘Treetops’ is a one bedroom self-contained chalet, perfect for couples and small families. With a large sheltered outside deck and large living space inside, you’ll never need to leave! A slightly larger unit than Clifftop, Treetops also benefits from a small food preparation area.
Daily breakfast included. Other meals can be self-catered for.
Drinking water, tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided throughout. F&B ordering service can be arranged before your stay and takeaway service for lunch/dinner. There are several restaurants at the nearby Tip of Borneo and in Kudat.
Daily maid service, daily continental breakfast, 24 hour security, BBQs prepared by local chef upon request, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, stereo with iPod dock, coffee machine, snorkeling equipment, sun loungers, TV and DVD player, fridge, toaster and kettle, sofa-bed. Note that Wi-Fi and mobile phone signal are not available at the retreat.
