Paganakan Dii is suitable for budget-conscious couples, families and friends, and offers comfortable, fuss-free, and tasteful accommodation at very affordable prices.
Paganakan Dii means ‘the family’ in Kadazan-dusun, the language of Sabah’s largest indigenous group.
The concept of ‘family’ is the foundation on which everything at this retreat was created – from the layout of the compound and room configurations, to the intimacy of communal spaces. Set on a narrow ridge about a ten-minute drive from the heart of Sepilok, Paganakan Dii is a cosy property made up of three duplexes and three longhouses, laid out along the perimeter of a hill top. A hundred feet below the rooms are the communal pavillion turned restaurant, and the multi-purpose hall – both built on the hill slopes and offering beautiful views of the compound and surrounding foliage.
